Fine Wine on Tap offers an indepedently cool, professionally edgy and superbly efficient "wine on tap" procurement, filling and logistics service to wine distributors for delivery to funky, stylish restaurants, bars and hotels.

Wine on a tap is innovative concept which has been influenced greatly by the craft beer movement. At Fine Wine on Tap we ‘think out of the bottle’ to bring you a ‘no crap on tap’ policy by providing you with premium wines served in a far more exciting, cost effective and sustainable way.

At Fine Wine on Tap we work with some of South Africa’s best winemakers to procure quality wines to be kegged and poured on tap using 100% recyclable PET kegs and efficient, energy saving tap dispenser systems. An innovative and cost-effective way to serve fine wine on tap at stylish restaurants, bars, pool bars, hotels and safari lodges.

Ingrid Motteux and Delaille Raubenheimer selects our wines based on the best quality & value available. This is put into 20 & 30-litre kegs at various wineries throughout the Cape Winelands.

“There is so much quality wine in the Cape and kegs are a great way to get it out there”.

A love of wine and a growing aversion to hospital basements led Ingrid to give up a successful career in nuclear medicine to work first as a vineyard labourer, then as a lecturer and wine writer.

Her wine interest took formal shape during more than a decade abroad, where she attained the UK WSET Diploma and, soon after, the Cape WSET Wine Judge certification. An associate of the UK Institute of Wines & Spirits, Ingrid also runs an independent wine consultancy, advising some of Africa’s top game lodges.

"Fine Wine on Tap is about getting good quality South African wines out there, putting the consumer and the environment first. Not only by giving wine-on-tap the same quality assurance as wine in a bottle but also supporting moderate drinking."

After obtaining her BSc degree in Viticulture & Oenology from Stellenbosch University, a love for travel resulted in Delaille working 8 back-to-back harvests in 5 different countries.

14 years of wine industry experience includes wine making, - marketing, sales, and working as sommelier.

Delaille's passion and appreciation for South African wine bought her back to the Western Cape, which ultimately resulted in serendipitously meeting Ingrid Motteux at a wine launch event.
